It has been fully renovated with materials chosen to match the building: herringbone parquet, ceiling mouldings, a marble kitchen worktop and a natural stone splashback.

Inside

Downstairs is an elegant sitting room with a convertible sofa, a large flat-screen television and a wooden screen dividing the space, alongside a fitted kitchen and a dining area. A carpeted staircase leads to a cosy mezzanine with a comfortable double bed that looks down over the living room. The bathroom is on the lower level. The apartment has its own private entrance and a dishwasher.

The neighbourhood

The Île Saint-Louis is a quiet island of narrow paved streets and seventeenth-century facades, with small shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants, and views of the Seine and of Notre-Dame from its quays. It stays calm even when the rest of central Paris does not, and you can walk to the Marais, the Latin Quarter and Notre-Dame in minutes.

Getting around

Pont Marie (line 7) is the closest station, just across the bridge. Sully - Morland (line 7) and Cité (line 4) are also a short walk, and the Right Bank bus routes run along the quay.

Parking

Nearest car park: Parking Baudoyer — 4 Place Baudoyer, 75004, about 10-12 min on foot. Public garages nearby charge around 32–48 € per 24 hours. There is no private parking at the building, and street parking in central Paris is limited and charged.
